With undergraduate degrees in both Theatre and German from Simpson College she uses both her theatre and language skills while conducting and producing workshops and shows in the States and internationally. With a Master’s Degree in Education, she served on the leadership team as the Lead Teacher at TC Satellite Campus in Alexandria, Virginia, involved with a model school for the 21st century classroom. While there she received the prestigious Superintendent grant for the Theatre of Prupose Project and also created the Scholar Skype Series which connects professionals/scholars like that of Tukwini Mandela (granddaughter of Nelson Mandela), Daniel Thomas (Capitol Hill Chef and Chef to the US President) and Perti Bryd (Judge Judy) to students. She also taught Theatre Arts and German on the Satellite Campus. Dilworth’s writing has been published in the national publication of Recreation and Parks Magazine, Urbanite Magazine and her poetry in the anthology entitled, Steel Pudding.
